I just picked up a new ider arm, center link, and inner tie rods for my front end. I also bought new front and rear shocks. I got the proper shocks for the rear this time so it lay out alot better...

I got everything for 129 bux! God I love my wife working for Napa!!

Oh ya I also ordered the KP fix bars from suicide doors. They will be here next week.

I got my entire front end finished last night. Im ready for a good alignment now! Now Im just waiting for my new bars to come in.

Hopefully Friday I will move the hangers and put in the new bars....maybe get my exhaust above my frame also.

I don't have a camera right now or I would snapped some pics.

are sure you need the fix bars
i was gonna just run some blocks
and if i happen to run through mine i would convert to the fix
if the show is in the grass the blocks will sink
they sell block steel at metal by the foot
just angle and weld a chunk

Well I got the new bars.....awhile back. Last weekend I removed the hangers and I am ready to put on the new bars. I was not able to remove the end links out of the bars so Bob took them to his work and got them out somehow! Not sure if he cut them out or what! I also ordered my crossmember to raise the gas tank on Monday and I am waiting for it to come in.

I need some help removing the bed....any volunteers?? I need to get the crossmember out so I can put the new one in.

yeah, drilling out those bolts suck!! best thing to do is grind off the heads and then just beat them out with a screwdriver and hammer.

Sorry John been working alot of OT and had to rebuild a ford steering colum last weekend on top of getting over the flu. I ended up taking a cut off wheel and spliting the old arms so the threads would expand when I put some heat on them. The old arms could be reused they just need cut and rethreaded. I think I have an extra jam nut for the one thats MIA.

No worries. I was going to toss those bars anyway. Or see if anyone needs them. Let me know when you can make it out. My bed is off and I am ready! I am going to start cleaning the frame this weekend or the start of next week.
