Feels great! It has been on jack stands for too long! LOL.

The passenger side is leaking pretty bad. This weekend Im going to tear into it and see if it is the bag or the fitting. If its the bag hopefully I will have the cash to replace both of them in the front.

Bob welded it. It took about 10 hours to do everything. Man was it hot! Thanks again Bob!!!

Hey Bob the first pic you had the notch on the driver side on wrong!! LOL.

Im still not laying out in the rear. I am almost hitting the gas tank....I mean I can see a small amount of light! Im not sure if my shocks are bottoming out or if my bags are fully compressed.

Trevor! Are you using the stock shocks on the back? When you notched yours what all was holding it up from laying out? Tank, exhaust......???

Ya it my process has really slowed down! One thing at a time.

I got my 80amp swinger relay put in tonight. The 40amp I had in there got really hot the other day. I don't need something like that burning my truck up! Next paycheck im ordering a fuse block from Summit that I will be using for my switches and some other things.

Haha, you always call out Trevor, I have the same kit also!!!!

I used the shocks that came with my KP kit, I know yours was bagged when you got it but I would assume the guy would of used the shocks that came with the KP when he bought it.

With mine notched, raised KP gas tank x-member, and the bed cut out mine lays in the rear hard. I didn't have to do anything else to mine.

start by removing the shocks and airing out, see if it goes lower...
measure the distance from top plate to bottom plate, the bags may be bottomed out, chances are, the added weight of the bed will make it lay out once it's done... also, check to make sure the driveshaft isn't hitting the cab....
I am not young enough to know everything.

I haven't looked at the drive shaft! I wont have a chance to really mess with it for a couple of weeks but I will start with the shocks once I have time.

Ya its not going to be all fixed by Slamfest. Next on the agenda is the interior. Seat covers, dash pieces back in, headliner, visors, and carpet. If I can get all of this done before then I think I will be happy.

Hey, I got NO plans this weekend if you need anymore welding done. I got a nice, portable gas welder on loan from one of my club members. Just let me know man.
